Tim Yarberry
CEO / Owner / Estimator
Tim Yarberry founded Yarberry Companies, Inc. in 1979 with nothing more than an 8N Ford tractor and a box rake, grading yards for local homeowners. Through determination, hard work, and a commitment to quality, he has grown the company into a respected industry leader, providing expert services in underground utility construction, concrete ready-mix supply, and aggregate materials.
Under his leadership, Yarberry Companies has successfully completed major infrastructure projects across Indiana, including INDOT-certified work, complex Jack and Bore installations, Slipliners, Culvert replacements, Wetland mitigations, Pedestrian bridges, Log jams, and contributions to the renowned Monon Trail. His expertise and dedication to innovation have positioned the company as a trusted partner for municipalities, contractors, and private developers.
Beyond business, Tim enjoys flying his BeechCraft A-35 Bonanza, going to vintage tractor shows, competing in High-level Amateur Trap Association Trap Shooting, and Farming. He also values community involvement and has led Yarberry Companies in supporting local causes, including multiple donations to the Madison County Humane Society. His commitment to excellence and giving back continues to shape the company’s legacy.

Raymond Yarberry
Chief Operating Officer
Raymond Yarberry is the Chief Operating Officer at Yarberry Companies, Inc., where he oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. His responsibilities include managing project execution, tracking progress, overseeing personnel, budgeting, and administrative functions. Ray plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Ray has successfully managed several high-profile projects, including the Town of Frankton Wastewater Utility Improvements Project, the Town of Chesterfield Water Utility Improvements, the City of Kokomo Water Separation Project, and the Town of Upland Watermain Relocation. One of his standout achievements was overseeing one of the largest slipliners to date in Indiana for INDOT. These projects demonstrate his expertise in project management, from initial planning through completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
In collaboration with his father, Tim Yarberry, the CEO, Ray assists with bidding new projects, developing operational strategies, and shaping company policies. As the company’s Traffic Control Supervisor and a NASSCO PACP, LACP, and MACP Certified Inspector, Ray ensures that Yarberry Companies maintains the highest standards of safety and quality on all job sites.
Ray has worked for Yarberry Companies for nearly his entire life, officially joining the company full-time at 19. Starting as a laborer, he has gained invaluable experience working alongside some of the best in the industry, including Roberto, Tomas, and Steve, whose mentorship helped him grow into his current leadership role. Ray credits much of his success to the knowledge passed down to him from his father and colleagues, which has been integral to his career journey.
Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife, Mallory, and their four dogs—Maddie, Freyja, Boots, and Mazie. He loves being outdoors with them and frequently visits the family lake house to spend time with his loved ones. Ray is also an avid competitor in the Precision Rifle Series, where he challenges himself with long-range shooting. Additionally, he enjoys riding dirt bikes and spending quality time with family and friends.

Beth Peavler
Office Manager / Controller
Beth Peavler has been a vital part of Yarberry Companies for over 12 years. With more than 25 years of office management experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team. Beth oversees all payroll, accounting, bidding, human resources, and project management activities. Her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail have made her instrumental in the successful execution of numerous high-profile INDOT projects, as well as major municipal contracts across Indiana.
Beth’s ability to manage the behind-the-scenes operations of the company ensures that crews can focus on getting the job done in the field. Simply put, without her, the volume and complexity of work Yarberry Companies handles wouldn’t be possible.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, relaxing with friends and extended family, and heading to the lake whenever she can. Whether she’s jet skiing, sportbike riding, or hanging out at the family lake house with her three dogs, Beth makes the most of her time off.

Steve Zirkle
Superintendent
Steve Zirkle is the Superintendent at Yarberry Companies overseeing all Divisions. Steve brings over 35 years of experience in water and sewer utility work, and expertise in Jack and Bore and Directional Drilling. A true wealth of knowledge, Steve has played a crucial role in the company’s growth and success.
Throughout his career, Steve has led numerous high-profile projects, including several INDOT, town, and city infrastructure developments. Most recently, he successfully completed five challenging Jack and Bore locations in Evansville, Indiana, for INDOT—delivering them on time and under budget through innovative problem-solving. Additionally, Steve has managed several multi-million dollar projects for the City of Carmel, overseeing the installation of hundreds of feet of water and sewer lines, lift stations, and asphalt bike paths.
When he’s not on the job, Steve enjoys riding his snowmobiles and spending quality time with his wife and kids. His dedication, leadership, and expertise continue to make him an invaluable part of the Yarberry Companies team.

Roberto Castaneda
Demolition Division
Roberto Castaneda has dedicated over 40 years to Yarberry Companies, beginning his career as a laborer and progressing to the role of foreman, where he now leads his own crew. Throughout his time with the company, Roberto has gained specialized expertise in areas such as log jams, demolitions, and slipliners. He is also the go-to operator for finish-grade dozer work, known for his precision and skill on every project. His vast experience includes completing several high-profile INDOT projects and playing a crucial role in the development of the Monon Trail, a significant undertaking in the area.
Roberto’s leadership and hands-on approach have made him an integral part of the team, consistently ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. Outside work, Roberto enjoys a fulfilling personal life. He treasures spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Together, they often travel to their vacation home in Mexico, where they can relax and enjoy each other’s company

Aaron "Woody" Wood
Site Work & Utilities Division
Aaron “Woody” Wood is a Foreman at Yarberry Companies and has been a dedicated team member for over 10 years. Starting as a laborer, Woody worked his way up through hard work and expertise, now leading his own crew and managing complex utility projects.
Woody has successfully completed numerous high-profile city and INDOT projects. Most recently, he tackled a highly complicated impact basin for the City of Indianapolis, forming and pouring it entirely by hand rather than using precast materials. Additionally, he led the construction of a massive headwall in Crawfordsville, Indiana, for INDOT and has completed several sliplining projects for the agency. Known for his problem-solving skills and ability to think on his feet, Woody consistently delivers projects efficiently and under budget.
Outside of work, Woody enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Bo and Bella, riding his four-wheelers, and exploring the outdoors. His dedication and expertise make him an invaluable asset to Yarberry Companies.

Jason Stanley
Utilities Division
Jason Stanley is the Sewer and Water Line Foreman at Yarberry Companies, where he has quickly risen through the ranks. Originally joining the company as a CDL driver, Jason’s strong work ethic, leadership skills, and expertise in utility construction have propelled him into a foreman role. He now leads his own crew and has successfully completed several high-level projects, including two major water and sewer projects for the Town of Frankton and a $4 million stormwater project for the City of Kokomo.
Outside of work, Jason is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys deer and turkey hunting, along with a variety of outdoor activities. Most importantly, he values spending quality time with his three daughters, Elli, Ava, and Ainsley. His dedication to both his profession and family makes him a key part of the Yarberry Companies team.

Celestino "Salsa" Jimenez
Site Work & Concrete Division
Celestino “Salsa” Jimenez is the Concrete Division Foreman at Yarberry Companies, bringing over 11 years of dedication and expertise to the team. Starting as a laborer, Salsa worked his way up through the ranks and now leads his own crew, successfully managing complex concrete projects.
Throughout his career, Salsa has completed numerous high-profile projects for INDOT, and various municipal and private sector developments. One of his notable accomplishments includes constructing an impact basin for the City of Indianapolis. He has also played a key role in building basements and foundations for Yarberry Companies, most recently completing the foundation for a Seven Brew Coffee House in Muncie, Indiana. In addition to his extensive concrete experience, Salsa specializes in custom decorative stamped concrete, bringing unique and visually striking finishes to a variety of projects.
When he’s not on the job, Salsa enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, exploring new places, and enjoying the outdoors. As well as raising famous roosters. His strong leadership, experience, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable part of the Yarberry Companies team.

David Stanley
Concrete Ready Mix Division
David Stanley serves as the Concrete Ready Mix Operations Manager at Yarberry Companies. With nearly 15 years of experience in asphalt and concrete ready mix operations, David brings expert knowledge in mix designs, batching, and day-to-day plant management. Since joining Yarberry six years ago, he has played a key role in ensuring our concrete operations run smoothly and efficiently. His attention to detail and leadership help keep everything on track from the plant to the job site.
When David isn’t managing operations, he enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.

Meredith Tucker
Concrete Ready Mix Division
Meredith Tucker is the Concrete Ready Mix Plant Office Manager at Yarberry Companies. Meredith brings over eight years of professional office management experience to the team. For the past three years, she has played a crucial role in the daily operations of the Concrete Ready Mix division. Her responsibilities include handling concrete orders, managing driver schedules, and creating mix designs to ensure the right concrete blends are delivered efficiently. In addition, she oversees office operations for the company’s gravel pit, keeping everything running smoothly.
Outside of work, Meredith is passionate about horses and is an avid barrel racer. She enjoys taking her horses on trail rides and spending quality time with her children, friends, and family. Her dedication, organizational skills, and love for both her work and personal life make her an invaluable part of the Yarberry Companies team.

Chris Portwood
Shop Manager
Chris Portwood is the Shop Manager for Yarberry Companies, bringing over 30 years of experience as a skilled diesel mechanic. For the past five years, Chris has expertly managed our shop operations and maintained our extensive fleet of equipment, playing a key role in keeping everything running smoothly and ready when needed. His deep mechanical knowledge and strong leadership make him a vital asset to the team.
When Chris isn’t in the shop, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his grandchildren—often taking them to football and baseball games and teaching them new skills. He also has a passion for working on race cars, enjoying time with friends and family, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Walter Mendoza
Sand & Gravel Division
Walter Mendoza has been a vital part of Yarberry Companies for the past 8 years, working in our Sand & Gravel Division. He oversees the daily operations at the pit, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Walter’s dedication and attention to detail help keep this essential part of the company operating at full capacity.
When Walter is not at work, he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. He loves being outdoors, cooking up delicious meals, and hosting or attending gatherings and parties.

Tylor Peoples
Transport Division
Tylor Peoples is a Class A CDL Driver at Yarberry Companies, bringing seven years of trucking experience to the team. Though new to the company, he has already proven to be a great fit with his strong work ethic and dedication to the job.
Outside of work, Tylor enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons, Legend and Kayden. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he loves riding his Harley Davidson, playing softball, and traveling. Passionate about exploring new destinations, he also works as a travel agent on the side and enjoys taking cruises whenever he gets the chance.
Tylor’s diverse background and enthusiasm make him a valuable addition to the Yarberry Companies team.

Limm Edgell
Utilities Division
Limm Edgell has been with Yarberry Companies for 8 years, starting right out of high school. He began his career working in the shop and has grown into a key member of our Utilities Division, contributing to several large and complex projects. Over the years, Limm has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, helping the company tackle challenging projects with confidence and skill.
Limm’s dedication to his work and his ability to learn quickly have made him an integral part of the team. Whether it’s assisting with utility installations or supporting large-scale projects, Limm’s contributions are vital to the continued success of Yarberry Companies.
Outside of work, Limm enjoys various activities. He spends time both outdoors and indoors, taking care of his animals and enjoying his hobbies, such as playing video games with friends and collecting shoes. He also enjoys spending time at the race track and cheering on his fiancée as she plays softball.

Ruben “Skippy” Sanchez
Transport Division
Ruben “Skippy” Sanchez is a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver at Yarberry Companies, Inc., bringing 23 years of experience in the trucking industry. Specializing in heavy lowboy hauling and dump truck driving, Skippy has been an essential part of the company for the past 12 years.
In addition to his driving expertise, Skippy is also proficient in equipment operation, making him a versatile asset to the team. He has played a key role in completing multiple INDOT and municipal projects, contributing to the company’s reputation for quality and efficiency.
When he’s not on the road, Skippy enjoys spending time with his wife and children and working on cars and trucks. His dedication, experience, and skillset make him a valued member of the Yarberry Companies team.

Arturo “Joe” Navarro
Utilities Division
Arturo “Joe” Navarro is a skilled operator in the Utility Division at Yarberry Companies, bringing 19 years of experience to the team. Starting as a laborer, Joe worked his way up through the ranks and has become an essential part of the company.
He has worked closely with Superintendent Steve Zirkle, developing extensive knowledge in water and sewer utilities. In addition to his expertise in utility work, Joe also assists with Jack and Bore installations and directional drilling, making him a valuable asset to the team.
When he’s not at work, Joe enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His dedication, experience, and hard work have played a significant role in the success of Yarberry Companies’ projects.

Jose “Pepe” Verver
Site Work & Concrete Division
Jose “Pepe” Verver is a highly skilled member of the Site Works & Concrete Division at Yarberry Companies, bringing over 40 years of experience in concrete work, including 11 years with the company. Specializing in custom concrete work, Pepe has played a key role in creating everything from decorative stamped concrete to highly complex structural projects. His expertise and craftsmanship make him an invaluable part of the team.
Pepe’s attention to detail and deep knowledge of the trade help ensure the success of every project he works on. His dedication and skill have contributed to some of Yarberry Companies’ most intricate and high-quality concrete installations.

Tomas “Tommy” Verdin
Site Work & Concrete Division
Tomas “Tommy” Verdin has been a dedicated member of Yarberry Companies for over 35 years. A true wealth of knowledge, Tommy has expertise in concrete work, landscaping, irrigation installations, and even paint and bodywork—making him one of the most versatile and skilled team members.

Jose “Shorty” Navarro

He has worked closely with Foreman Celestino Jimenez, assisting in the successful completion of numerous concrete projects. Mario Ruben “Cinco” Sanchez
Site Work & Concrete Division
Mario Ruben Sanchez is a laborer in the Site Works and Concrete Division at Yarberry Companies. Christian Marin
Concrete Ready Mix Division
Christian Marin is a Class A CDL driver with three and a half years of industry experience. Although new to Yarberry Companies, he has already proven to be a valuable asset to the team. His expertise includes hauling heavy machinery with tractor-trailers and operating Tri-Axle dump trucks. Currently, he is expanding his skills by learning to operate our concrete mixer trucks.
Outside of work, Christian enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids. Whether camping, exploring the outdoors, or cheering on his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs, he makes the most of his time off. Beth O’Bryant
Transport Division
Beth O’Bryant is a seasoned CDL Driver for Yarberry Companies, bringing over 30 years of experience with a commercial driver’s license. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep appreciation for the dynamic nature of her role, where she enjoys learning something new every day. The ever-changing locations and the opportunity to meet new people on the job keep her engaged and motivated.
Outside of her work, Beth’s greatest joy is spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories with them. She also enjoys expanding her horizons through cooking and learning about new cultures, always eager to discover new flavors and traditions. Patrick Griffin
Transport Division
Patrick Griffin is a Class A CDL Driver at Yarberry Companies, bringing 12 years of experience and over 1.5 million safe miles behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer. For the past three years, he has been a key asset to the team, specializing in transporting heavy equipment using the company’s W900 Kenworth and lowboys, and handling dump truck operations on various projects.
Patrick’s skill and dedication ensure that equipment and materials are delivered safely and efficiently, contributing to the success of numerous jobs. His expertise in heavy hauling plays a crucial role in keeping projects on schedule.

Manuel Moctezuma
Utilities Division
Manuel Moctezuma is a dedicated laborer and operator in the Utilities Division at Yarberry Companies. With six years of experience at the company, he has played a vital role in several high-profile projects, including the Frankton Sewer and Water Project and the Kokomo Water Project, working alongside Foreman Jason Stanley.

William “Stumpy” Morgan
Transport Division
William “Stumpy” Morgan is a skilled and dedicated CDL driver for Yarberry Companies, bringing over 30 years of experience behind the wheel. When he’s not on the road for work, Stumpy enjoys cruising on his Harley-Davidson, embracing the open road and the freedom that comes with it. A devoted family man, he has been happily married for 12 years and is the proud father of six wonderful children. He loves taking his family on vacations, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories together.

Buljevic “Heavy” Anorve
Utilities Division
Buljevic “Heavy” Anorve has been invaluable to the Yarberry Companies team for two years. Starting as a laborer, Heavy has quickly proven himself to be one of our leading ground guys, specializing in water and sewer installation. His strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills on the job have made him a standout member of the crew.

Micheal Stanley
Utilities Division
Michael Stanley has been with Yarberry Companies for 5 years, beginning his career as a CDL driver and quickly proving himself to be a valuable asset to the Utilities Division. He now serves as the head operator of our HydroVac Truck, playing a critical role in safely exposing underground utilities and ensuring they are located without damage. Michael’s precision and dedication help keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
When he’s not on the job, Michael enjoys working on cars and spending time outdoors with his friends and family.

Grissom Jernigan
Utilities Division
Grissom, a full-time employee on our pipe crew, started working for Yarberry Companies 3 years ago as a weekend shop hand while still in high school. In his free time, Grissom enjoys riding ATVs and restoring old tractors.

Steve Colton
Concrete Ready Mix Division
Steve Colton is a CDL Driver for Yarberry Companies, bringing over 30 years of experience operating concrete mixer trucks. With a diverse background that includes more than 40 years as a residential painter and 10 years as a contracted builder, Steve’s extensive expertise makes him a vital asset to the Concrete Ready Mix division.
For the past three years, Steve has been a dedicated member of the Yarberry team, not only delivering high-quality concrete but also contributing to shop and gravel pit renovations in his spare time. His hands-on skills and commitment to excellence help keep operations running smoothly.
When he’s not behind the wheel of a mixer truck, Steve enjoys spending time with friends and family and frequently visits his property in Florida. His strong work ethic and well-rounded experience make him an invaluable part of the Yarberry Companies team.
